Student Health and Safety

Lafayette is committed to providing students with an environment for optimal intellectual, social, and emotional growth. We take very seriously our responsibility to help our students make healthy and safe choices and to create an educational milieu that both challenges and supports students as they strive to achieve their full potential. The College has a variety of programs, initiatives, and services designed to provide a safe and secure environment for students and other members of the campus community.

Alcohol

High-risk consumption of alcohol by students poses a significant impediment to the safety of our students and to the College’s core academic mission. Lafayette’s position on the use of alcohol is not one of prohibition, but one of education and accountability.
