Alcohol
High-risk consumption of alcohol by students poses a significant impediment to the safety of our students and to the College’s core academic mission. Lafayette’s position on the use of alcohol is not one of prohibition, but one of education and accountability.

Behavioral Intervention
A student whose behavior appears to meet the criteria for posing a serious risk to his/her own or others’ health or safety, and/or the educational process, will be subject to review by members of the Behavioral Health and Safety Review Committee.

Bias Response Team
The Bias Response Team (BRT) was established by a coalition of students, faculty, and administrators to provide a mechanism to respond to acts of intolerance and resolve conflicts in a spirit of civil discourse and mutual accountability.

Mediation Services
Mediation is a collaborative problem-solving approach to resolving conflict between individuals or groups. It is voluntary and conducted in a safe and confidential environment by an impartial mediator.
